its seems complicated to explain, but makes sense when you've thought about it enough. the pulse, tempo (115bpm) and number of beats per bar (16) remain a constant, but the number of divisions in each beat change every few bars from 8 divisions across 2 beats, then slowing down to 7 divisions across 2 beats, then slowing down to 6 divisions across 2 beats and then speeding back up to 7/2 and 8/2. The whole time I play a similar pattern with 7 16ths as the starting point. this all leads into the last song which is in straight 4/4
because i recorded it. it's an interesting mix of elctro glitch and wop wop with acoustic instruments and amazing musicianship. its a moment in history. osmosis
